How to Create Entity Relationships in Sightfull | Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome! We're going to talk about entity relationships. These help connect different entities, giving your data more depth and meaning. Relationships are the links between entities, allowing you to create more robust metrics.

To create a relationship, go to the Ontology page. On the Ontology page you are going to select the entity you would like to build the relationship on.

Once you have selected the entity, click on the Relationships tab on the right-hand side of the screen. From there, you are going to click Create a Relationship.

To create a Relationship, we are going to use the Sightfull AI, to create a link between the Account - Finance entity and the Lead entity.

Once Sightfull AI generates the relationship, click Apply Selected to move it to the Relationship Builder.

We now have, in the Relationship Builder, we will name this relationship Leads. It will go from the entity, Account Finance and will reference the entity Lead. The type of relationship is one-to-many, meaning a single account can be connected to multiple leads.

The opposite would be many-to-one, where multiple accounts would be connected to a single lead.

We then, we add a description: Leads related to the account. If you would like to edit and customize this description to better fit the relationship being created.

Finally, we define the join keys, which link the two entities. We will use the ID from the Account Finance entity and the Converted Account ID from the Lead entity.

Once we are satisfied with the relationship, we click Create.

The relationship has now been created, and you can see it along with all previously created relationships. If you would like to add a new relationship, click the plus button and add as many as needed.
