videoWelcome. We are going to talk about data models. Data models are a way of organizing data in a structured fashion so that you can find data very easily and answer questions as needed. A data model is made up of three things. The first thing that a data model is made up of are entities. Entities are where the data comes from in the data source. These can include things like accounts, campaigns, or contacts. Between these different entities, we want to build relationships. Relationships are how you can link different entities together. Relationships allow you to link different data sets together to enhance your data.
The final piece of the data model are dimensions. Dimensions are values that come from the entities.
With all these pieces together, you're able to build a robust data model to allow you to answer any data question that you may have.
